MC 14 s.n. 5000 successfully in operation
A special machine with symbolic significance. The COMACCHIO MC 14 s.n. 5000 is the 5000th drilling rig that COMACCHIO has built. The drilling rig, which was ceremoniously handed over last year, is part of the Küchler rental fleet. Its first two uses show: The MC 14 not only stands for history, but also for performance.
First job on the Rotbach bridge in Flühli (LU)
The first job was in Entlebuch: On behalf of Stutz AG Willisau, Gasser Felstechnik AG installed test piles with 219 mm casing on the K36 cantonal road. The MC 14 was able to demonstrate its versatility and strength in confined spaces directly at the Rotbach bridge.
Second stop: Engadin at 2000 m above sea level
The powerful drilling rig is currently supporting Büchi Spezialtiefbau GmbH in the Corviglia ski resort near St. Moritz. New extensions (conversion/new building) are being built at the Hotel Salastrains. For the Rühlwand, pipes up to 10 m in diameter of 323.3 mm are being drilled, with a final depth of 17 m - a total of 38 boreholes.
Power meets character
The COMACCHIO MC 14 s.n. 5000 combines anniversary and performance. Küchler Technik AG is delighted that this special drilling rig reliably and efficiently fulfills the needs of its customers and impresses across the board when faced with a wide range of challenges.
