Technology tailored to different drilling methods

On special civil engineering job sites, requirements often change from project to project. Depending on the subsoil, drilling diameter, casing, and anchor or pile system, a suitable match of torque, rotational speed, percussion output, tool, and carrier is required.

Eurodrill offers a broad range of drilling drives and components for this. These include, among others, X-series drilling drives, vibratory drives, core drilling drives, E-Heads, double-head drilling systems, rotary drives for rotary drilling rigs, hydraulic motors, and drilling accessories. The X-series is particularly relevant for flexible operations.

Designed for various drilling methods, it can be reconfigured with interchangeable attachment kits for rotary drilling, down-the-hole (DTH) hammer applications, or percussion drilling. For construction companies, this means: one base drive, multiple application options, and less rigid machine configurations.

Compact solutions for cased drilling

For cased drilling, micropiles, and demanding anchor work, the coordination between the outer casing and the inner drill string plays a central role. Eurodrill double-head drilling systems combine two drives in a compact design. The gear units for the outer casing and the inner drill string rotate in opposite directions; integrated shift cylinders enable relative adjustment to adapt optimally to the geological conditions.

This is attractive for applications that call for a compact design, controlled power transmission, and precise adaptation to the drilling method.

Quality, in-house manufacturing, and service

Eurodrill combines development, manufacturing, and service with a high degree of technical specialization. The company relies on a high level of in-house manufacturing, with around 10,000 made-to-drawing parts produced in-house, “made in Germany.” Quality assurance is certified to DIN EN ISO 9001.

Service is also relevant to everyday job-site work. Eurodrill supports customers with repair, servicing, and maintenance: by phone, on site at international job sites, or at the company headquarters in Germany.

20 Years of Küchler drilling technology

Twenty years ago, a new division was established at Küchler Technik AG: drilling technology. The catalyst was a request to become the official representative for COMACCHIO drilling rigs and Eurodrill drilling drives in Switzerland.
