Durable, efficient, sustainable - an innovation from Küchler Technik
With the KÜPS® (Küchler Permanent System), Küchler Technik AG has developed an anchoring system that not only meets the current state of the art, but also sets new standards. It combines compliance with standards, efficiency, safety and environmental friendliness in a unique solution for special civil engineering.
How does the KÜPS® system work?
The Permanent System is based on the proven self-drilling principle (KSB®), combined with a new type of steel finned cladding tube and two-stage injection. The specially developed injection valve behind the drill bit and the finned cladding tube ensure complete encapsulation and permanent corrosion protection - even in critical areas such as the coupling.
Technical highlights at a glance
-
Complies with SIA 267 standards (protection level 2)
-
Load-bearing capacity of up to 1000 kN thanks to various tube diameters
- Patents for finned cladding tube, injection valve and system design
- Reliable and flexible, even for direct drilling in rocky ground
- No need to handle heavy drill rods
- The couplings are also protected with double injection in accordance with the standard
Sustainability with real impact
Energy consumption can be reduced by up to 70 % compared to conventional systems. This is due to the use of smaller drilling rigs (e.g. 5 instead of 12 tons), the fact that air and water flushing is not required and the continuous drilling and grouting process without tool changes - which significantly reduces installation time.
Made for people and the environment
KÜPS® was developed with the entire construction process in mind - from the static function to the physical relief on the construction site: there is no need to handle heavy drill pipes at all. The environment benefits because the Permanent System uses less material, does not require additional flushing processes, can be separated by type and will last for decades thanks to its permanently maintenance-free design.
An innovation with substance
The development of the KÜPS® goes back to a CTI project with the Burgdorf University of Applied Sciences. Three patents secure the design. Today, the Permanent System symbolizes the innovative strength of Küchler Technik AG - with the aim of developing practical solutions and reinterpreting the requirements of modern anchor technology.
Application options and advice
KÜPS® stands for sustainable solutions that combine technical requirements and economic efficiency. The Permanent System supports planners and contractors in implementing projects safely, in compliance with standards and in a resource-saving manner.
