Ground stabilization in Reichenburg using KSB® self-drilling anchors
Three apartment buildings with a shared underground parking garage are being constructed along the Hogglibach in Reichenburg. For the foundation work on this project, Swissbohr Spezialtiefbau AG is installing approximately 700 low-pressure jetting piles.
The ground stabilization is being carried out as a contractor-managed project, including engineering services and a load-point guarantee. Before work began, a test pile program involving dynamic pile tests was conducted. The results obtained from these tests formed the basis for the project’s execution.
A total of approximately 13,000 m of KSB® self-drilling anchors are being used for the piles, which range in length from 9 to 30 m. The models being installed are KSB® R51/7T, KSB® T76/6T, KSB® T76/8T, and KSB® T76/10T.
The work will be carried out from June until September 2026 on behalf of Immo Kistler AG and Allgemeine Genossame Reichenburg.
