Ground stabilization in Reichenburg using KSB^® self-drilling anchors

Three apartment buildings with a shared underground parking garage are being constructed along the Hogglibach in Reichenburg. For the foundation work on this project, Swissbohr Spezialtiefbau AG is installing approximately 700 low-pressure jetting piles.

The ground stabilization is being carried out as a contractor-managed project, including engineering services and a load-point guarantee. Before work began, a test pile program involving dynamic pile tests was conducted. The results obtained from these tests formed the basis for the project’s execution.

A total of approximately 13,000 m of KSB^® self-drilling anchors are being used for the piles, which range in length from 9 to 30 m. The models being installed are KSB^® R51/7T, KSB^® T76/6T, KSB^® T76/8T, and KSB^® T76/10T.

The work will be carried out from June until September 2026 on behalf of Immo Kistler AG and Allgemeine Genossame Reichenburg.

Excavation Shoring for the Galliker E-Park & Ride in Dagmersellen

The new Galliker E-Park & Ride facility in Dagmersellen is being built to accommodate 41 charging points for electric trucks, a two-story underground parking garage, and underground connecting tunnels. For the excavation shoring, Steiner AG Spezialtiefbau relied on 3,000 m of KSB^® R32/15.

The self-drilling​​​​​​​ KSB^® system combines drilling and grouting in a single operation. Separate piping is not required, installation time remains short, and the construction process is more streamlined. The anchors were grouted with​​​​​​​ KÜMIX^®, a thixotropic, easily pumpable mortar containing 35% phonolite to reduce CO₂ emissions.

The ​​​​​​​COMACCHIO MC 10 ES, which has proven itself over many years, was also used.

Extension Office and Production Facility for Killer Work AG

As part of the construction of the new extension office and production facility for Killer Work AG, the Birchmeier Group is carrying out demanding work in both building construction and special civil engineering. The scope of work includes demolition, earthworks, piling operations, shotcrete support with anchors, and drainage infrastructure works.

A total of 2,700 meters of KSB^® self-drilling anchors were installed for the soil nail wall and temporary anchoring works. This included 1,300 m of KSB^® R38/17 and 1,400 m of KSB^® R38/15. In addition, the K MUNGG^® injection pump ensured reliable delivery of the injection grout on site.
